Red Bluff Reservoir is on the Pecos River in Texas and extends into New Mexico. The reservoir was formed in 1936 by the construction of a dam via the Red Bluff Water Control District. It was built to provide water for irrigation and hydroelectric power, but is also used for multiple recreational activities. Red Bluff Reservoir has been stocked with species of fish including white bass and hybrid striped bass.
